Maria Jendza, the owner and director of The Children’s Village, was
the owner and director of Tiny Tots Too Child Care in Providence,
Rhode Island, for 11 years from 1988 to 1999. The Tiny Tots Too Child
Care facility was based with The Miriam Hospital. This facility was a
child care center for infants, toddlers and preschool-age children of
the hospital staff and near-by community.
She was responsible for 90 children at one time with 15 assistants.
Complied with all state and OSHA regulations along with being a
member of the Rhode Island Legislative Commission for Child Care. She
also lobbied for children’s rights at Rhode Island State House.
From 1985 to 1988 Maria ran the Tiny Tots Corner, in Providence,
Rhode Island. This facility was a child care center for 60 children
and 8 staff.
