Our center will recognize the important role that caregivers play in
nurturing the children in our care. Our philosophy is based on
developing the social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth of
the child. We will provide a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating
environment to enhance a child's learning. The children will learn
through play and developmentally appropriate practice. The staff will
treat each child as an individual allowing them to explore and
develop at their own pace by providing the appropriate tools and
guidance.
Our environment is meant to be warm and calming. Our colors were
carefully selected to create an atmosphere that is not over
stimulating but inviting. We want your child’s stay with us to
be a happy and pleasant experience. The center’s program will
be open to parents and their ideas. We will share our ideas through
newsletters, daily reports, and our parent bulletin board. We
strongly believe in parent participation and communication. Our
philosophy is based on the belief that we need to work as a whole for
the development and nurturing of our children. Our program is based
on the Rhode
Island Early Learning Standards. All of our children
and families will be treated with respect and dignity at all times.
